Ford Australia has released a new range of high-performance muscle sedans and Utes, which are based on its recently launched FG Falcon. There are two engines available, an entry level 4.0-litre turbocharged straight-six with 415bhp (310kW) and a 5.4L V8 with 422hp (315kW). The line-up of vehicles include the F6 Ute, Pursuit and Super Pursuit Utes, the F6 sedan and GT, GT-P and GT-E luxury models. All of the models come standard with Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), side curtain airbags and Brembo brakes. The 4.0-litre turbo engine produces 565Nm of torque and the 5.4-litre V8 only produces 551Nm of torque. The F6 has comes with new powertrain improvements which include a new strengthened piston and conrod assembly with a complete new re-calibration of the ECU. The V8 motor has a new timing for the camshaft, a new camshaft profile and an increased compression ratio. The V8 will also boast a twin plate throttle body and manifold with a higher rev-limit. The models will have a choice between the ZF six-speed auto or a new Tremec TR6060 six-speed manual transmission. trackback:auto parts suppliersOther Similar post:
