The process of demerger of erstwhile Bajaj Auto Ltd (BAL), which was approved by the board of directors of the company on 17 May 2007 has now been completed with all approvals being obtained, including that of Bombay High Court and SEBI.
Pursuant to the Scheme of Arrangement of Demerger, Bajaj Holdings & Investments Ltd (BHIL, erstwhile BAL) was demerged into three undertakings with effect from the effective date, viz. 20 February 2008.
It is now hereby informed that :-
The equity shares (14,46,83,510 Nos.) of Bajaj Auto Ltd (in whom manufacturing business undertaking has been vested) will be listed and permitted for trading on Bombay Stock Exchange and National Stock Exchange with effect from Monday, 26 May 2008. The listing ceremony is scheduled to take place at the designated Stock Exchange, i.e., BSE on 26 May 2008; and

Porsche tuning specialist Gemballa proudly presents its new Avalanche 600 GT2 EVO tuning program. Designed for either Porsche 997 Turbo or the GT2, the program includes impressive power upgrade, new body kit and interior enhancement, as well as numerous tweaks to cars’ suspension and exhaust system.
The power kit increases max power output to 600 bhp and raises the peak torque to more impressive 840 Nm (619 lb-ft) resulting in mind-numbing zero to 100 km/h acceleration time of only 3.5 seconds.

The last time we talked about the price of the Lexus LF-A, we had only the car’s price in China and a whole lot of speculation to go on. The car’s retail in China was set at $264,700, and based on that a Lexus fan site did it’s best guestimation to arrive at a US price of approximately $130,000.
